Teck had his decayed wisdom took removed yesterday. Being a girlfriend n a nurse, i wanted to be there to take care of him. But when i got there @ the clinic he was already hving the surgery done. So i waited outside n it took a total of 1hr 30mins. I thought that i could be of use when we reach his place. But to my dismay, his mum n bro was around. n knowing his mum to be juz like rufus's mum, he was pampered like a small boy.
The horor came when he took out the 1st gauze n from then on he kept bleeding non stop from his mouth. as i nurse, i wasn't horrified by the blood, but his mum was like: "huh! how come so much blood? eee....i feel scared in the sight of blood...u better go back n see the doctor lah"
In the end, after 4hrs of bleeding, we decided to go back to the clinic. The whole family went there, his mum, bro, himself n me. Then another obsticle came when we were there. The clinic was suppose to be closed, n also to be waiting for us to arrive, but we sat outside for abt 45mins, before teck got to see the doc. He was restless, his mum was complaining non-stop. she kept asking me why it is taking so long, how come he cannot stop bleeding, why is he bleeding so much?...etc. As a nurse, i felt helpless. Not only in helping teck stop the bleeding, but also at answering his mum's questions. So i took on the no talking option. I was dwindelling into self blame, thinking that it was my fault, n that his mum was blaming me for not taking gd care of him. She didn't say it, but i felt it.
But when the whole thing was over, the problem was that teck didn't put the gauze over the wound to stop the bleed. Until now i don't understand where else could he have put the gauze.
What an adventure it was....n today....the right side of his face has swelled up to a size of a tennis ball! wah...i got shocked...for those from church who wants to take a look, i've taken a photo of it already! :) Feel free to approach me fo it ya. Thats all for today! :)
