DRIVING...
Have you ever had that kind of experience where the driver or the person giving instructions have a conflict. I have realised tt there are 2 types of drivers, those tt can navigate with brief instructions and those tt need specifics. Unfortunately, i belong to the 2nd category. Needing specifics and giving specifics are what i need and will do for a smooth and "trouble free" drive. Being a person who is a high C, i am a perfectionist. I hate to miss turns or make mistakes. I get very annoyed when pple do not give me ample warning before the turn. It is even worse when it is either my dad or teck tt is giving the instructions.
When men say, "Go stright", they really mean go stright, no right turns, no left turns, just stright. Most women on the other hand, think too much when we drive. For example, this is what is usually going on in my head and is usually expressed out loud. "Stright! where and when is the next turn? are you sure it is not here? how many more traffic lights befor we reach the destination?" I am very focused when i am driving, i only look at the road. In s'pore it is nt so bad, coz after all this is home. But if it is a foreign country....die...siao liao. It doesn't help tt i am bad with signs, although it has improved. That's why i need my navigator to also look at he road with me, so tt i don't miss any turns.
But such are the things tt make relationships interesting. If 2 pple keep agree on everything, then the other one is redundant. That's why i am glad tt teck n i are very different in many ways. Sure, we have had our fair share of disagreements, esp when he doesn't like to have me navigate, coz he wld rather get lost and learn from there, BUT...we have learnt how to better help accomodate one another. That is my food for thought.
