HONG KONG...
I am going to hong kong for the 3rd time...yea...for some well deserved rest and retail therapy. it makes it even better that i'll be getting my BONUS this moth...yee hee hee...
It has been a grueling 9days, plus 2 whole wkends burnt bcoz i was rostered to do 2 calls, one after the other. so tired. some were gd while many were quite bad. eventhough i will be reimbursed in monetary wise, if given a choice, i would rather get enough rest.
This year's appraisal went very well. i guess it is bcoz of haza being on maternity leave plus haveing molly n wenzhi away for adv dip, so i had to work closely with sister jane. i must say tt i was quite afraid of her when i 1st got into OT. felt tt she always saw me as a little girl and not one of her staff. i guess you cannot blame her when i talk as if like i swallowed a mike. her "kou tou chan" to me was " QL you must be PROFESSIONAL....you must behave PROFESSIONALLY, then pple will respect you as a nurse". always felt that she was judging me everytime she come into OT12. as i look back at how thing got better between us, i now understand tt she says it out of concern, and moreso bcoz she doesn'y know newbies well yet. but wif the unforseen circumstances, i had to learn her style of working.
i really love to work...it is always the pple at a particular place tt makes me feel welcomed. tt's how i feel at work. i don't think i will enjoy it as much if i didn't have all the funny n quirky pple ard. will be missing the pple at work n not work per say....will update soon wif possible photos of hongkong. :)
