Bad service...
ever had pesky sales assistants "stalk" you around the shop? i have. but the ones, i reapeat...ONES...that i met today were....how should i put it....let me juz type out the whole conversation. i walk into the shop looking at the clothes neatly hung. a MALE sales assistant immediately spotted me n my friend, so he came up to us.
M1: How may i help you Q: It's ok, juz looking around. M1: All the shirts here are on sale. M1: Are you looking for anything in particular? E: we are looking for a gift. M1: How tall is your friend? Is he slightly bigger than me? Q:(whips out a rope n giggles wif E, wondering to myself if the measurment was right) M2: If you stop giggling we can help you find what you want. Q: (thinking to myself wat's wrong wif giggling) M1: Are you looing for a long sleeved shirt or a short sleeved one? M2 disgruntedly said: He(refering to M1)has been doing this for a very long time...he can help you if you know what you want.
at that time we were the only customers on the shop.
M2: do you have a budget? Q: (tells sales man our budget) M2: then all the shirts infront of you are within the range. (pats the hangers) M1 desprately trying to close the deal: What about this one that you friend said tt is nice? Q: (shakes my head) Q: thank you. M1,2,3,4: (stares back like we owe them something)
Wat on earth was tt? evelyn says tt it is coz the were desprate to close a deal. i was VERY irritated when i left the shop. i am not being sexist n generalise tt all men are poor sales men, coz i have gotten gd service from males sales assistant before at other shops. but this is too much! he was critisizing me infront of the rest of the customers in the shop...LOUDLY! i am quite thick skinned, but i think that he juz needs to go for some course rgding communications. what happened to "customers are always right"? they need to get their act together n stop pushing the customers away. i like to shop, browse n take my time to see if anything catches my eye n pops out telling me that this suits the friend tt i am buying for. being too pushy juz makes the whole shopping experience very unhappy.
I swore to myself to never enter that shop ever again n to also tell my friends how badly i was treated so tt they will not patronise them too...hurmp...
