Where is your manners?
I am in furiated by the mere fact tt some men tt i have met have no manners. the worse thing is tt they r from my work place! don't pple who have studied more, be better behaved? this is 1 example from today.
i wasn't feeling very wel today n have been wanting to claim time frm work so tt i can go see the GP n rest at hoem. but my NM didn't let me go, she asked me to tahan until the pm shift staff comes. honestly, i think tt i could hv left in the morning, but she dragged my time.
was in ot12 today n the op listed was under my discipline. the MO came in quite early, but the anaes refused to bring the patient in coz the consultant is well known to have "rubber time". so after waiting for a very long time, the MO told us to tell the anaes tt they can bring the pt in. but the anaes refused again, saying tt she will only bring in if she see the consult. so i called into the ot to tell my eunice to ask the MO to call the consult. after tt i went into the ot to get something n juz conveniently asked the MO if the consult was coming. eunice replied to me tt he was in the change rm n we can bring the ot in.the MO then looked over n said" YOU ALL NEVER WORK IN OTHER HOSPITALS BEFORE AH? THEY ALWAYS BRING THE PT IN B4 THE DR ARRIVES'. in my heart i was thinking, but we r no ordinary hospital. we cater to children lor, maybe u are the one tt doesn't know the procedure here. well, i didn't want to be petty, so i juz brushed off his scarstic comment.
the after the op, this same MO, rolled a chair over to the documentation table n demanded tt we, the circulating nurse who were bz doing documentation, to move aside coz he needed to write the op notes. our table was quite messy n we were trying to settle some stuff, so eunice told him to use the trolley withe the computer on instead. he gave this as his reply "but the table is too short, n i will strain my back". i told him tt our chair was adjustable. he pretended tt he didn't hear wat i said n he squeezed wif us the the documentation table.
lastly, after he left the ot to get the record book, i was feeling quite tired, so i sat on the chair tt he was sitting on. he then came back n demanded of me to return him his chair saying" i was sitting on this chair 1st"he is like super childish lah!
Hello...i am the one tt is not well, i am a lady n i am a nurse. i still do deserve some respect ok. i felt like his maid or someone who is of a lower rank than him. he is 1 of the worse tt i have met. i wanted to think well of him n not let what i thot of him b4 cloud my service. but he was juz asking for it. nope, as of now his is top on my scum list. crap.
