My 1st 10K run...
My lovely number tag....
I did my 1st marathon last sunday. got a lift frm jessica's friend was seriously quite exciting...lets say tt, tt's fren's driving skills made me feel like i was riding in a roller coaster. :)
reaching there then we realised tt the baggage deposit place is quite in convenient to reach as we were at the padang. so dear jessica offered to carry my bag the whole 10K!!!!!!
the start of it was quite gd i must say, but when i reached the 4km mark i thot tt i will never make it to the end...coz the road seemed never ending.
but after some replenishment of water n some 100plus, i was recharged again. i've come to be very thankful for every water station tt is along the way.
overall i managed to complete the whole run within 1hr 39mins 59sec. fell under the last quater of the pple completeing the race, but for a 1st timer who didn't train properly, i think it shld have been not tt bad. :)
My reason to run
I did the run to prove tt even a lazy person like me can even complete a 10k run. i mean 1 year ago i wld be complaining like crazy when teck dragged me to run. it was only 1km, but i complained like crazy. i keep telling pple tt i will never run...i hate running...i have a bad ankle. but i must agree tt at the end of the run, i do feel gd. so thanks to all to made it possible. for gra, who believed tt i could do it n gave me my 1st jogging socks frm nike last christmas. for james for going wif me to buy my lovely adizero shoes, they are the best. for all the running buddies tt i have had, gra, tiffy, wendy, SQ n audrey, all that each of u have taught me at each run we had i remembered n brought it wif me to the run. you guys gave me the inspiration to keep running last sunday. for emily who was ever so kind to lend me her nano, giving me heart pumping music tt lasted the whole 10k. for dear miss jessica for carrying my bag the whole way n reminding me of my posture n being a great company to hv for the run. n to all the girls out there who think tt they cannot make it. i did it for all of u, bcoz i believe tt u can make it to the finishing line one day. :)
this will definately not be my last run. cheers to marathons!!!!!!!!!!!!!
