What a funny thing...

today work was like a mad house...we had so many E-cases piling up as high into the heavens...all at the same time when the elective cases have yet to finish. being a single wif no other things planned for the night, i was all prepared to stay back n help out wif the load of the cases piling up.

so...when i was into the 2nd E-case, DrA, who doesn't really talk to nurses, started to ask the nurses to stay back juz to do 1 more case for him...we kept refusing to budge, n it came to a point of time when he even jokingly, tried to "bribe" 1 of my senior nurse to stay.

he said this" stay lah mama goh...i pay u $10."

how silly can he be...i am sure some part of it was said out of pure desperation. we then went on to laugh at him n said tt $10 was nt enought to even cover her petrol cost and even the ERP...hahaha!:) we brought it up 1 notch by using their "bribe" back on them...

DR: staff nurse, tie gown
RN: tt will cost u $10
DR: staff nurse, open a new gown
RN: tt will cost u another $10

hahahahahahahaha......obviously we weren't serious k! :) it's times like these tt makes work very enjoyable despite the fatigue tt we felt in our body.
