Dancing Queen...i'm not it.
I went out with some friends last night and i did have quite a good time. no drinking involved but lots of chatting did. i was on my feet from 9.30pm till 2am in the morning. the place was packed! no seats were seen anywhere near us.
So here comes the other thing(s) that happened last night. The crowd at that place was full of expats and SPGs, lots of men that looked at least 5-7 years older than me. Miss L asked some friends along...guys of course, but they were not my type. they seemed alot older, talked abt topics that i wasn't too keen. tried to be interested abt my life, but i somehow felt that everything was kindda shallow.
One of then that i did mange to have an okay conversation with, he kept asking me" are you sure you are 156cm tall?" i mean... what are you laughing abt? am i too short? or do i noe seem as tall as i say i am? i don't quite understand what his obsession with my height was all abt...silly man.
Someone nearly bought us a drink..."sorry...not interested uncle".
I have also realised that i don't need alcohol to start "dancing". as some may know, i am not...seriously... not good at dancing. i remembered that fateful time where i busted out a move during worship at Kraaifontein and ryan laughed so hard at what i did. Shame was what i felt n i told myself that i would never bust a move infront of him any more.
So...back to my dance...i did...kindda dance. with lots of swaying from side to side, but my friends could care less what i did and that mede me feel at home. I am glad that perth has helped me bring out this side of me that i never thought i had.
Am i a dancing queen...erm...lets just say that i am not quite there yet. :)
